Snow Chaos in Anston, Sheffield. PT2 02/12/10

So the snow is still here and the people stuck were here until today (2 nights) but finally the stranded are on their way.

We took blankets and biscuits to them last night, on our way to the pub quiz, only to find out they had drank the pub dry…

We had a little fun on the way home and I’ve been out again today and got a few update shots.

The roads are clear but for how long… the forecast says more snow over night tonight with temps of -9 and more snow tomorrow and Saturday, Oh dear.

Still everyone has been in great spirits and helping each other out, feels great to see that kind of humanity in people.

On the upside the chippy’s were open and most of the local shops too, although many folk had panicked and emptied the shelves of bread and milk…
