I LOVE reading wedding blogs, I love going through the photographs and being inspired by other people’s wedding days, so I decided to write a series of blog posts based on several areas of the wedding day, the cake, the dress, the bridesmaids, the grooms, the flowers, the shoes and the styling of the day.
All the photographs in this series come from weddings we have shot over the last two years. Our couples never fail to inspire us, I hope they inspire you too!
Wedding Flowers

Wedding flowers are a gorgeous way to decorate your wedding. They are a great way to tie your colour theme together. You may choose wedding flowers to decorate your ceremony and reception as well as your bouquet and your bridesmaids bouquets and buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen.
You should plan to meet with a wedding florist approximately 6-8 months before your wedding to get advice and a view of the different types of flowers and blooms that will be available during the season that you are marrying. Use your florist, they are experts, ask them for advice and help if you aren’t sure.
We have put together some flowers from weddings we have shot over the last year or two, grouped by colour.
